It's that time again. The time of year to start thinking about climbing the mountain that is the UEFA Champions League, we may have slipped of that mountain last year, but this could be our year. But other than that touching little speech, the Champions League draw was yesterday and we got drawn into this group.

Robinho To Chelsea Semi officially done.

According to reports, Robinho's deal to Chelsea is already complete. The rumor is that you can now buy Robinho kits in the Chelsea mega store online. But they have now been removed. So a little slip up by someone on the Chelsea website announces a big signing early.

According o Peter Kenyon Real Madrid's Robinho could be on his way to west London within the next 48 hours

During an interview with the official Chelsea website Kenyon is quoted as saying:

'We are ever confident that it [the deal for Robinho] will get done but we have always said it will go to the wire.

'We will keep moving it on and we hope that he will be joining us here at Chelsea.'

He went on to say that Robinho as long with Deco were Scolari's top targets.

Well after a dominating start to the season against Portsmouth, hopes for Chelsea were very high against Wigan. But it wasn't quite the same result in my opinion. I thought that in this game against Wigan we played a lot like we did last season under Avram Grant. It wasn't the brilliant football that we had seen for the game against Portsmouth. I thought that we played well, but not good enough. I am now declaring Deco the steal of the summer, he seems like he will be a great player for Chelsea, and he and Lampard, Ballack, and Essien will be great. But overall 3 points is 3 points, and we are still top of the league and havin a laugh.

Two years after joining Chelsea from AC Milan, it now appears that Andriy Shevchenko could be making a return to Italy with a move to Milan. It has been a difficult two seasons for Andriy who has only scored 9 goals in 47 matches for Chelsea.

My View:
It really is too bad that it didn't work out for Andriy, he had a lot of promise when he arrived. Maybe now that he is going back he may be able to resurrect his career. But I can't say I'm sad to see him go.

What can I say, the samba style is here. Chelsea start off with a 4-0 win and we player fairly beautiful football. First off, I would like to say that it was great to watch, the passing was slick and fast. I thought that Ashley Cole, and Bosingwa played great they looked great coming forward, and added a lot of speed to the game. I was impressed with Anelka, he finally showed some heart and effort instead of lumbering around bitching. To be honest I can't really describe how great we played, it was fun to watch, and we dominated possession. It was a great start to the season.

I am not trying to panic anyone, but the rumor around the water cooler is that Joe Cole could be the next target of Martin O'Niel and Aston Villa. According to the Daily Mirror Villa are lining up a £17.5million bid for Joey Cole.

My View:
Nooooooo! Don't let him go. He was probably one of our best players last season for Chelsea. With the arrival of Deco, and the rumors around Kaka and Robinho, it could happen.

It seems like we have added a lot of depth this summer. We have added Deco (a midfielder, Bosingwa (a defender), and Robinho looks to be on his way. So what should our lineup be. Here is what I think:

I really don't need to explain why I put Cech in goal.

Defense
Well I think Bosingwa will do great at Chelsea, he can sweep forward as more of a right wing back, and use his speed to come forward. Terry and Carvalho have been solid for us for years, and I still have confidence in them. Ashley Cole is a good LB, who can play the more as a left wing back, and is would be fun to watch.

Midfield
It was a hard choice to make a choice on who to start and sit here because we have such great depth in our midfield. Essien is so versatile, and we could really use him too our advantage. He can play farther back in the CDM role or more into a more attacking midfielder, it was really a no brainer for me to start him. The others were harder to choose. But I'll start with Lampard first. I chose Lampard because he has been a great player for Chelsea for years. I am still a bit pissed at him because of the whole Inter saga, but I couldn't bench Lamps. Now to Deco. I chose him because I think he and Lampard can play very well together. Don't worry I'll explain why Ballack isn't starting later

Forwards
For the forwards I chose Robinho, Drogba, and Cole. Considering that we get Robinho, I think we should play him on the wing. I don't think he could really succeed up front, but he is an option if we have injury problems. I chose Cole on the other wing because he had a great season last year and couldn't stand to bench him. As for Drogba, he has been a consistent man for Chelsea up front for years now and he still is our best option. I do however believe that he will get banged up a lot this year so we should alternate him with Anelka a bit.

Bench
Cudicini: No offense to Terry but we need a backup goalkeeper at all times.
Alex: He is a consistent option for us, and he showed his quality.
Ferreira: See above to Alex.
Mikel: He is a good player when he isn't being red carded, he can be a good replacement for Makelele who left to PSG, and he is also very versatile.
Ballack: Now here was my tough choice, whether to bench Deco, Lamps, Essien, or Ballack. I know Ballack tore it up for us last year, but sometimes he didn't look like he fit in with Lampard, Drogba, and Essien. But if there is anyone injured or behaving like an asshole Ballack is the first one in the lineup replacing him.

Robinho coming to Chelsea?

Well the rumor is that Robinho may be on his way to Chelsea for a reported 19 million from Real Madrid. It has been confirmed that Chelsea have made and offer. A quote on Chelsea FC.com said:

Further to media reports, Chelsea Football Club can confirm we have made an offer to Real Madrid today (Thursday, August 7) for the transfer of Robinho.

So my question is, do we really need him? I don't believe so, in my opinion he is too light weight for the English game. I can't see him taking on someone like Rio Ferdinand. I think we maybe need to concentrate on signing another striker. Anelka is inconsistent, Drogba is Drogba, and Shevchenko is well, horrible. So I still think that we need another out and out forward. Robinho is more of a winger, and we really don't need that type of player in my opinion.

Well once again FIFA President Sepp Blatter has said something very stupid. He said that teams sometimes are using "Modern Slavery" to hold onto players, and of course Ronaldo agree's with him. In this case he is referring to Cristiano Ronaldo who has been linked with Real Madrid.

Now here is my rant. I don't get how someone who is making hundred's of thousand's of cash every GAME can be referred to as slaves. Some people have to work for years to earn the same amount of money that Ronaldo does in one game. Maybe Mr.Blatter, and this idiot Cristiano Ronaldo need to read a history book, and learn a bit about slavery. Now I may not always be politically correct, but when you are making the kind of money that Ronaldo does, then you don't come into the same category as a slave. A "slave" is unpaid, and forced too do labor. While the most Ronaldo has to worry about is which escort service he will call that night, or which one of his Ferrari's he will drive to Old Trafford. It truly is idiotic to even compare Ronaldo or any other footballer to a slave and Sepp Blatter is a disgrace to the game.

Maybe this is why the refs in the Premiership are horrible.

It seems like the only posts I have made lately all revolve around Frank Lampard. I am getting tired of the situation, and he can go for all I care. He needs to quit asking for a five year deal, he's 30 years old for god's sake. He needs to just stay loyal to us for at least one more year, then maybe we should give him a three year deal. The next post I will make about this situation is when he has made an official move.

After Scolari's press conference earlier today, where he said that Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard wanted to stay at the club for "many years to come". Despite this, his agent Steve Kutner is claiming that contract negotiations aren't going well.

His agent also said:

"I'd just like to make the situation clear. Felipe had a very amicable chat with Frank, who told him he always envisaged ending his playing career at Chelsea football club," read the agent's statement.

"He also told him that unfortunately terms for a new contract cannot be agreed with the board, despite discussions having been ongoing for over two years.

"This, coupled with everything that happened to Frank at the end of last season, means his position remains completely unresolved."

The rumor has beem that new Chelsea boss Luis Scolari wants to sell Ukrainian striker Andriy Shevchenko, now it is looking more and more likely that Shevchenko who joined Chelsea two years ago for €45m will be returning to his former club AC Milan, says the

In Scolari's press conference he spoke on the matter, saying:

Well after today's press conference it seems that quite a bit of our questions have been answered. In the press conference Scolari was asked about Drogba and said:

"I saw Didier on Monday and I saw him happy. We had a good conversation.

My View: To be honest I want him gone, he has just been a distraction for the team. I also am unsure that just because he is in Scolari's plans, if Scolari is in Drogba's plan.

Inter want to begin Lamps negotiations

It has been rumored for about a week now that Frank Lampard will, or has already joined Inter Milan and former boss Jose Mourinho. Reports claim that Inter have made an official ₤6.5million bid for Lamps and have sent a fax to Chelsea FC.

An Inter Milan insider is qouted as saying:

“Our technical director Marco Branca has sent a fax to Chelsea to request the beginning of negotiations for Lampard. We will now wait for Chelsea’s response.”

My View: Well, it would be shame to see Lampard leave Chelsea. A Chelsea team without Lampard is hard to believe. But it may soon happen. I am also surprised about the rumored ₤6.5million bid for Frank. That just seems a bit low for him, I believe Steve Sidwell has been linked with a move for around £5.5m. I'm sorry (and I'm sure some will disagree), but you can't compare Steve Sidwell and Frank Lampard.

Ballack is in no hurry to renew deal

With only a year left on his contract Chelsea midfielder has revealed that he is in no hurry to extend his deal.

In fact Ballack told Bild newspaper:

"I have a contract until 2009 and there is an option to extend it, so there is no need to rush."

"We will just wait and see what happens."

My View: Well I'm not going to get too excited yet, but those comments make it sound like Ballack has not made a decision about whether he wants to be with us past 2009 or not. I am almost wondering if he knows something we don't, and maybe Lampard will stay beyond this season. We'll just have to wait and see.

Deco wants to team up with Lamps

New signing Deco has stated that he wants Frank Lampard who has been rumored to join former manager Jose Mourinho, to stay with Chelsea so they can form a dengerous team.

He also stated:

"I think I can be compatible with Lampard on the pitch," said Deco. "That is of course something that the trainer (Scolari) has to decide - he is in charge.

"But I have seen a lot of Chelsea games on the TV and together Frank and I can create a lot of danger for other teams."

He went on to say that four years ago he almost became a Chelsea player, but joined FC Barcelona instead. Saying quote:

According to Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani reveled that Chelsea have made a new offer for the Brazilian player. Milan have stated that he is not for sale, and Kaka has said he wants to stay at Milan.

When Adriano Galliani spoke to La Stampa about the offer he said:

"For Kaka, a really big offer has arrived from Chelsea," Galliani told La Stampa.

My View: Obviously I would love to have a player like Kaka at Stamford Bridge. But the question is, do we really need him here. It sounds like the Robinho deal is close to being done, we have gotten Deco in the midfield, and we don't know yet if Lampard is staying yet. Maybe we should just try to add some depth instead of going for the superstars.

Juve bids £12 for Ivanovic

Branislav Ivanovic who just moved to Chelsea in January from Lokomotiv Moskow may be on the move again. Reports are that the 21-year-old defender may be on his way to Italian club Juventus for £12 million, which would mean that Chelsea would recieve a £3 million profit for the defender in which they payed £9 million for. Ivanovic has played a very small role after arriving at Chelsea. We beat out interest from Milan, Inter, Juventus and Manchester United for his services in January.

Madrid an option for Drogba

After months and months of whining Didier Drogba has finally made his intentions clear by saying that Real Madrid is an option.

When The Daily Mirror talked with Drogba's agent Pierre Frelot about the players future at Chelsea, he said that Drogba was happy, but is also quoted as saying:

"Didier is calm because he is at a great club like Chelsea, but Real Madrid are also a great club."

My View: To Me it is fairly obvious that Drogba will be moving on. I don't think Scolari wants him at Chelsea next season, and I don't think Drogba wants to be at Chelsea either. But if Real do get Drogba, Ronaldo, and a few other players, they will be a fantastic team

Well pretty soon Chelsea might actually get Fernando Torres, reports are that Chelsea are willing to pay £85 MILLION for Liverpool ace Fernando Torres. In my thinking Liverpool may not be able to turn down Chelsea's offer with a new stadium coming up, and it would free up some money for them. So go ahead Fernando join us! You know you want too.

I would love to have him at Chelsea, he may actually be the only thing in the city of Liverpool that is worth something.

Five Years under Abramovich

Well today it has been five years since Roman Abramovich has taken over Chelsea. I will not say that I have agreed with him 100% of the time. But what he has led the club I have always too is brilliant. Some people complain about the money we spend, and we do spend a lot. But who doesn't spend money. A man who really wasn't into football when he bought into the club has invested heavily into Chelsea and I thank him for that.

Robinho in Negotiations with Chelsea

According to his agent, Vagner Ribeiro Robinho is currentley involved in a €36m deal with Chelsea to move from Real Madrid. His agent also said that he was in West London to speak with Frank Arnesen, and added that he is unhappy with evauliuations saying that Real Madrid target and current Man United player Cristiano Ronaldo isa better player then his client.

In an interview with the Madrid based paper As, he said:

"It is true that Chelsea are interested in signing Robinho. They have been for some time and that interest has become much stronger since Scolari took over as their new manager," Ribeiro told AS.

"I have met with Frank Arnesen in London and he confirmed to me that they want the player for next season.

"Neither Robinho or myself like that Real Madrid are prepared to use him as part of an exchange in their bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We do not understand this attitude and we want them to begin to value Robinho because they are not at the moment.

"Robinho is as good if not better than Cristiano Ronaldo. The difference is that Ronaldo reached the Champions League final and Robinho did not, but if he had and won the trophy too, then he would be considered on the same level."

My View:

I do think Ronaldo is a better player, but I would like to see Robinho come to Chelsea. I do worry about if he will be able to compete in the Premier League with it's style of play. But Robinho is a great player and I would love to have him.

Lampard Staying?

Well fist off sorry for the lack of post recently. But anyways I have been following the whole Lampard and Deco situation closely. With Deco coming in for about the same fee that we were supposedly going to sell Lampard to Inter for (9.8 Million) so it seems like an even swap right? Well today after all the rumors Jose Mourinho has said quote:

This season? I don’t think so,” the former Porto boss is quoted as saying in The Sun.

“Why won’t he? Well it’s not because we don’t want him, but I’m sure Chelsea and Chelsea officials don’t want to sell him.

“However, for next season it will be easier for him to join me at Inter. I’m 100 percent sure in 2009/2010 he will be playing here.”

When he says that he is 100% certain that Lampard will join Inter in the 2009 season, it says to me that they already have some sort of deal sorted out. We'll just have to wait and see now.

Today I have some very sad news for Chelsea fans. It has been made official that star midfielder Steve Sidwell is leaving the club. I think this will severely affect the title chances for next season. Well, I'm of to go and cry some more.

Lampard "Won't Finish Second at Inter"

Jose Mourinho has had interest in many Chelsea players this summer, for his new gig at Inter Milan. One of his main targets is Frank Lampard. In an effort to get Frank Lampard to leave Chelsea, he is quoted as saying:

"Come to Inter, you will not finish second here."

A clever line to convince Lampard to go to Inter. Lampard's future has been questioned after rumors that Deco may be brought in by Scolari to take his spot.

My View:
Well I didn't know that we were planning on finishing second next year.

Drogba Staying?

After about 10 months of non stop complaining about having to be at Chelsea, Didier Drogba is quoted as saying that he has no intentions of leaving the club this summer.

The Ivorian Striker talked to skysports.com during a promotional campaign for his new book, saying:

"I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, so I am still a Chelsea player,"

"Mourinho is my friend and I am happy for him because he was missing coaching.

"He is a top coach but, like I said, my contract here runs until 2010."

He also spoke about his sending off for the first time with the media,saying:

"I am really disappointed with myself (for getting sent-off)," he added.

"I lost my head completely and I let the team down. I should not have reacted in that way.

"I let myself down, the Chelsea fans, my homeland - but that is life.

"I have now lost three finals. One Uefa Cup (with Marseille), an African Nations Cup and now the Champions League, but that is football.

"Hopefully I will win the next one."

My View:
To be honest I'm a little unsure about even letting him stay. He is a great player, but he has caused so many distractions for the team this year. He was always going to the papers saying how he was leaving as soon as the transfer window started. To be honest I think we need to move on and forget about all the comments he's made, but if the right offer comes around then I have no doubt that we should let him go.

If these rumors are all true then we will be getting some top quality players. It seems like Scolari is doing what Mourinho did is first two seasons, and is bringing in all of "his" players. All in a ll their were rumors for all these players connecting them to Chelsea:

The Sun(If you can believe them) are reporting that at 10:10 am yesterday Deco left Geneva to go to Croatia to meet owner Roman Abramovich on his boat that is docked there. Deco has previously said that he would either join Jose Mourinho at Inter, or his former Portuguese National Team boss at Chelsea.

Speculation is growing over whether Brazilian Duo is in route to Chelsea. It has been reported that Luis Scolari has labeled Kaka as a player he must have. It also has ben reported that Ronaldinho wants to join Chelsea saying to follow Scolari. Reports are that Scolari will be in touch with him at sometime in the coming days.

My View:
I am really excited about these rumours. We may be able to use Drogba as a bargaining chip for Kaka with AC Milan, because it has been made clear that they want a striker or two. Ronaldinho also excites me, because he is such a great player. I know he hasn't been great since the World Cup in 2006, but all he needs is a change of scenery.

The rumor is that Samual Eto'o may be on his way to AC Milan and Andrea Pirlo may be heading the other direction to Barcelona. How does this affect Chelsea you may ask? Well Samuel Eto'o was our top target to replace Didier Drogba, who we still really haven't heard much about where he is going. But I think it will be Inter. But back to the subject, Eto'o and Pirlo were top target's for Chelsea this summer. In my opinion this leaves the door open for David Villa and Deco to come to Chelsea.

Chelsea must of read what I wrote yesterday bout David Villa, because it has been revealed that Chelsea and Barcelona are the leading contenders to land the Spanish striker.

Valencia director Juan Sanchez insists that the more goals Villa scores at this months Euros will make the price to buy him higher. He went on to say:

Report: Scolari is the next manager of Chelsea

After a couple of weeks of speculation it is now official, Luis Felipe Scolari who is currently at Euro 2008 as the manager of Portugal has been announced as the new Chelsea manager.

A statement from the club's website reads:

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm that Luiz Felipe Scolari will be the club's new manager from July 1, 2008.

Felipe has great qualities. He is one of the world's top coaches with a record of success at country and club level, he gets the best out of a talented squad of players and his ambitions and expectations match ours. He was the outstanding choice.

I thought that in this game Portugal were by far the better team. Turkey looked very disorganized. Maybe they were just caught up in the moment and nervous, because they are humna beings and on a stage like that it is easy to get nervous. But after this game I am almost positive that Portugal will go far in this tournament. Essien Will Return!

After reports of a raid of Chelsea by former boss Jose Mourinho. One player has stepped up and said that he is fine where he is, and that is Michael Essien.

Essien told the Sunday Mirror:

"I will go back to Chelsea for the next season and expect to have a great season,"

Essiens agent Fabien Piveteau also spoke to the media about Chelsea being able to bounce back after these departures, and the dissapointment in the Premier League and Champions League. saying:

Chelsea gives permission to Milan over Drogba

Reports are that Chelsea FC have given permission to AC Milan to begin negotiations with Didier Drogba.

Adriano Galliani claims that they are now in talks saying:

"Chelsea have authorised us to open negotiations with Drogba," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Unfortunately, the response we feared came (for Shevchenko). Chelsea consider Andrei unsellable. This epilogue makes us very sad.

Well my main question is, why do we keep Shevchenko around, are we just trying to get the most out of our"investment". In my opinion we should let him go, before he is unsellable to another large club.

Well I am sorry to say now that Mourinho is at Inter, but I was really hoping he would come back as well. I know he had no managerial job when you wrote this but, it's too bad he's taken.

I also acknowledge that a lot of these players are long shots. But it would be brilliant if they would come to the Bridge.

I really like your starting 11 as well. I would like to be able to get Quaresma, Richards and Robinho. I would also wouldn't mind us going out and getting either Gomez or Agguero, but not both. Both Gomez and Agguero are great players, but if we were to go get one of them, and a player like Ibrahimovic or Villa we would be better up front.

I agree with you, it's looks like a kit we had in the 80's (probably one of the worst decades in our history) also the blue seems a bit off, but maybe it's because they're sneaking that awful yellow back in on all the details, yellow always cheapens things.

Even tho we had some howlers in the 80's, the kit we won the Cup Winner's Cup in, against Stuttgart, will take some beating in the "Are we sure that's Chelsea playing out there?" Award for Fashion Disasters. That had all that detail in yellow, the wrong blue and that white patch under the arm evoking Those other guru's of style , Wigan, Oldham, Sheffield Wed.

The best kit was 1969/1970 simple classic, stylish and instantly recognizable as Chelsea.

Why don't Adidas take a leap and make an all blue kit, with all blue on blue details, blue Adidas stripes, that would be style, I've been involved in the Fashion for years and I know it would sell in boatloads.

But the reason Adidas won't do that is 'Branding", it's all about the consumer recognizing their brand, which obviously is more important than Chelsea.

The Centenary Umbro kit was the best and most understated and stylish we have had in recent years, they used gold and not yellow in that case and loook what happened that year, we styled our opponents off the pitch in every department.

What sickens me about all of this, is that it should have been Drogba who apologised. For constantly saying he wants to leave the Club, for showing total disrespect to his team mates and the thousands of fans who adore him, especially towards the end of the season by playing for himself not the team. Playing so so deep into his own half he was behind the central midfield, particularly in the CL Final, a position where he could have no influence on the game. For a moment I thought he had created an attackers version of the Makelele role in reverse (if that makes sense - which it doesn't) By the 115th minute Man Utd were like a boxer against the ropes, hoping if it goes the distance he'll get the decision. This is exactly the same scenario as in last year's Cup Final, Utd began to look vulnerable and who was it that killed them off that time? a pure example of Drogba's genius. If that Drogba had been playing on Wednesday the out come may have been very different.

But, Drogba has left the building, he left it a while ago and meanwhile Johnn Terry who pulled of one of the saves of the season on Wednesday, a man that when he kisses the badge, he means it, a man who has played through pain rather than let the team down, blames himself. He owes no one an apology, he didn't fluff it like Ronaldo, he slipped and the anguish on his face after the game breaks my heart. I don't think there was a person on that pitch that wanted it more than Terry. I think as Chelsea fans we owe it to him to collectively to make sure he feels that respect, by not accepting his apology, as it not required.

My suggestion is that one of fan based blogs, such as this, have a petition with as many names on it as possible, that would be a powerful way of helping him move past this. And if any one thinks this is too much, take a look at the pictures after he got himself up off the floor, he doesn't deserve to feel that way

Reports are that Chelsea are interested in signing Ricardo Quaresma for FC Porto, but they have warned Chelsea that Quaresma will cost £24million.

In his press conference today Portuguese manager Phil Scolari who has been rumored to be taking over at Chelsea after the Euros.

In his pre-game press conference ahead of the Portugal game against Turkey, saying:

"I'm here as the Portugal squad's coach. I am going to work hard for the Portugal squad until the end of the Euros," he said.

"It might be during the first phase, the second phase or the last phase - I don't know. If it depends on me, we will still be playing on 29th June.

"And I am talking on behalf of the Portuguese team. What's going to happen to me after Euro 2008 - if I am going to stay or leave - concerns (only) me and I am not going to talk about it now.

"If I decide to leave or stay, I am only going to make a public declaration at the end of Euro 2008. If something else happens during the Euros, I am not going to answer although things may go this way or that way but I am here to work for the Euros.

Well you may remember Adrian Mutu who was busted back in 2004 after it was revealed that he had been taking cocaine. Well a judge has ordered him to pay Chelsea £9.6m in compensation.

However the Fiorentina striker plans to appeal the charge.

His lawyer was quoted as saying:

"This is a sporting tribunal decision, which people must remember. Once they decide, we can take it to a civil court."

Well if Chelsea get that much money that could add to the amount of money we can spend this summer and that makes me happy.

Their really has been no new breakthroughs considering we do not have a manager yet, and the candidates keep rejecting us. Now that is summer I will be able to spend A LOT more time blogging.

After speculation over the future of Roberto Mancini. Today it finally appears to be over.

When the press spoke to his agent Giorgio De Giorgis. He was reported as saying:

"I do not know anything, as I have not yet managed to speak calmly with Roberto,” said De Giorgis.

“Is it all over? It certainly seems so, but I have no confirmation.”

De Giorgis also said that Mancini did not expect this news saying.

“If the news was confirmed that he had left, surely it would be a big surprise and it would certainly be a decision by the club since he had no intention to leave and would never have done so out of respect for Moratti and the rest of the group for whom he has so far trained," the agent concluded.

This raises a few questions. Will Mourinho go to Inter? Where will Mancini manage next? Will it be at Chelsea? I have a feeling we'll find out the answers to these questions soon.

Well according to The Daily Star, if Frank Rijkaard were to come to Chelsea to manage he would spend £50M on Eto'o, and Ibrahimovic. Obviously Eto'o was with Rijkaard at FC Barcelona who sacked him a couple of weeks ago.

After a rejected £40million offer to Liverpool for Fernando Torres, Chelsea will reportedly try again with a £50million offer to the Merseyside club. Fernando Torres was a target of Avram Grant when he was at Chelsea but Roman Abramovich seems to want to bring him to the Bridge badly.

Report's are that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is lining p a player swap for Brazilian superstar Kaka. The Swap would send Ricardo Carvalho, Didier Drogba to Milan and Kaka to Chelsea.

This is very interesting. It looks like Roman is ready to throw some cash around his transfer window which is a good thing in my opinion. I could see this deal happening after some negotiation. But it will be hard to lure away one of the best players in the world away from a struggling Milan.

Well I never thought it would get to this point where high profile managers were offering to manage Chelsea. But for some reason the club rejects the manager. Usually it's the other way around. Roberto Mancini supposedly approached Chelsea about the vacant managing job. But Chelsea said no in a humiliating rejection.

“His representatives have repeatedly knocked on our door, but he isn’t our man,”

a source inside the club reportedly stated.

Mancini won his third Scudetto in as many years last weekend.

I am kind of excited after this news. It is fueling thoughts of the return of the "Special One". But what is worry me is if Mancini is out of the job, and if Mourinho replaces him then we can't have either of them. So who will manage Chelsea, I ask? It is a very good question.

Terry's Letter To Us

After his miss in the penalty shoot out in the Champions League Final John Terry has written a letter apologizing to the fans.

The Letter said:

To all the Chelsea fans, all my team-mates, the manager and staff at the club. I am so sorry for missing the penalty and denying you the fans, my team-mates, family and friends the chance to become European champions. Many people have told me I don’t need to say that but I feel I need to, that’s just me. I have relived that moment every minute since it happened. I have only slept a few hours and wake up every time hoping it’s all been a bad dream.

I have had some amazing support from fans, current and ex-players, family and friends and I need to thank everyone for that. But I am a big man and I take responsibility for us not winning. I am and ALWAYS will be Chelsea through and through. I will give my all on and off the pitch to win this trophy as a player and one day as a manager. And I am sure we will win it.

That night in Moscow will haunt me forever and I feel I have let everybody down and this hurts me more than anything. I am not ashamed about crying. This is a trophy I have tried so hard year after year to win and it was just an uncontrollable reaction, I wear my heart on my sleeve, everybody knows that.

According to the Real Madrid player Chelsea and AC Milan are after his services.

He said in an interview qoute:

"What could happen is that I could go to Chelsea, as I have an offer from them," the 24-year-old former Santos player said. "Milan are also interested in me. The Milan directors have asked to hold a meeting with [my agent] Wagner."

He also included that his agent met with Peter Kenyon yesterday.

I really don't know if we need Robinho. It seems like at this point we need a striker. Robinho can play there, but he is more of a winger. Chelsea could play a 4-3-3 like they did this season. With Drogba (AC Milan), Anelka (Tottenham), and Shevchenko(AC Milan, or MLS) all likely leaving leaving it is important to acquire a striker up front.

Reportabley Bruce Buck will hold talks with Drogba about whether he would like to stay at the club.

Buck said in the interview:

"Didier is a superb player generally," admitted chairman Bruce Buck.

"Now that the season is over we have to sit down with him and see what the story is and what his future is. He is a great player, I hope he stays."

Buck added: "But that is a decision the club and Didier will have to make collectively.

"There have been some comments reported to be made by Didier over that last year that maybe he would like to leave Chelsea. On most occasions he has said that he has been misquoted."

Mourinho Coming Back?

Well after having just learnt of the sacking of our manager Avram Grant, I have also found reports that Jose Mourinho is now on good terms with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

A senior club source revealed to The Sun:

"After Jose left, it took a while before he and Roman spoke. But they did and it was amicable.

"It has become much more frequent and friendly over the last few weeks and it looks like bridges are being rebuilt.

"Other directors have also talked to Jose and the bad blood from before has disappeared."

Well it would be amazing if "The Special One" would return to Chelsea. It would make Avram Grant seem like a tool in a little fight between two proud individuals. I will try to find out more on Avram Grant as soon as possible.

Well I have some BREAKING NEWS on Avram Grant a statement issued on ChelseaFC.com confirmed that the Chelsea manager has had his contract terminated.

The Statement Read:

Chelsea Football Club can confirm that Avram Grant has had his contract as manager terminated today (Saturday, May 24). This follows meetings over the last two days.

Everybody at Chelsea FC would like to thank Avram for his contribution since taking over as manager last September.

We will now be concentrating all our efforts on identifying a new manager for Chelsea and there will be no further comment until that appointment is made.

Champions League Final

Well it is still too painful to talk about. But Chelsea lost the Champions League Final. I'm not going to get too far into it, because simpley I still can't believe it. I thought we dominated most of the game, but John Terry slipped and well you know the rest.

Well this will most likely be my last post before the biggest game Chelsea will have ever played. In a way it is fitting that it is against one of the most powerful teams from our own league. It will be a great game no matter what. Just the image of watching Chelsea walk onto the field for the Champions League Final gives me goosebumps. It is something that we have come so close to doing a number of times, and now we are doing it ,finally! I'm not really in a position to give a pep talk, but I hope, no pray, that we can get a win tomorrow. It will prove to everyone that Chelsea is by far the greatest team. It would also shut up the Scousers. So before I bid you adieu I thought I would post a great video I found on Youtube.

Vidic Slams Drogba

Well as I said in an earlier article Manchester United are tryiing to play mind games with our players. Today it happened again.

Nemanja Vidic has come out publicly accusing Didier Drogba of diving saying:

“Sometimes he [Drogba] goes in very strong and sometimes he pretends he is weak,” said the Serbian. “He plays with your mind and tries to make the defender think about the next tackle.

“He can pretend he fell down to win a penalty, but referees know that. The Champions League final is a big game and I’m sure the ref will know his job.”

But he added: “He’s a great player and he’s a top scorer. It’s a hard job to stop him.”

Well it is no secret that Didier does go down a little easy, but I think that this is just a mind game that they are trying to play. Let's just hope that Drogba rips through the Man United defense on Wednesday.

"Mourinho used to tell me when to get cards" Drogba

In Didier Drogba's upcoming autobiography Didier Drogba admitted that Jose Mourinho would tell him when he should get a yellow card to get a suspension at the right time.

In his book it says this:

"Mourinho calculated everything - he looked at the match programme and analyzed the cards each of his lads had received," Drogba says in the News of the World.

"He sometimes whispered to me: 'It would be good for you to get a yellow card today. You would miss such-and-such a match. I will give you four free days.'

"No problem. I used to do as he said.

"That allowed me to pay myself a little trip to Dubai. It was a modern way of treating work and the individual."

Well I think we all know that almost everyone does this in Football. It's a way of not having a yellow card hanging over a player's head for the Champions League, or in League Play. But it was very stupid of Drogba to say this, it's one of those things that happens, and it's best not to discuss it openly with the press. But it doesn't really matter. On more game and he's off to Milan.

Anelka Plans on Staying.

After not living up to expectations after coming in Mid January from Bolton, their has been a few rumblings saying that Nicolas Anelka may be leaving Chelsea after only six months.

In an interview with the News of the World Anelka Rubbished the Rumors saying:

“No, I am staying,” said Anelka in the News of the World.

“Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world so there’s no point moving again because we contest the Champions League and Premier League title.

“I have moved too many times. Even if I am on the bench, I am glad to be here.

“I am still new to the club. I try to do my best when the manager asks.”

In my opinion he hasn't played enough at Chelsea for anyone to say he has played poorly. He has been on the bench for most of the games since he has arrived. I think we should give him at least one more year. Who knows, with Drogba leaving he may play an important run in the league for Chelsea next year.

Well if you were to look scroll down my blog you would see almost no new posts in the last couple of days. In my opinion that is a good thing (No not because I am lazy), but because usually before a huge European Final there is a bit of jabbering between the sides. But this time there really isn't really much coming from Chelsea, just some crap from Fergie, Vidic, and others from United that are trying to get in a war of words our players and manager. But we have stayed FAIRLY quiet and really haven't said much in United's Direction, and that in my opinion that is a good thing. They're so busy between trying to piss us off, trying to keep Ronaldo around for next season, and training that we might have the psychological advantage right now.
